The Twelve-Twenty One Condominiums

Lock 7 purchased the building at 1221 12th St NW from a non-profit organization that was selling the building in order to move to a larger facility in another part of DC.  The footprint of the building already contained almost 5200 SF, so no additions were necessary to convert the structure into 5 units.  The terrace level has 2 one-bedroom units, and each other floor are two bedrooms.  Nearly every original detail in the building was preserved, including the pine floors, fireplace mantels, stained glass, and original entry doors.  Lock 7 added additional details that were from the same time period (the late 1800's) such as coffered ceilings and decorative crown moldings.
